Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets for Planning and Optimizing Maintenance Logistics of Small Hydroelectric Power Plants

Maintenance plays a crucial role in the availability of an asset. In particular, when company’s assets are decentralized, logistical aspects directly impact maintenance management and, consequently, productivity. energy generation sector, this scenario is common enterprises and projects which distributed resources (DERs), such as small hydroelectric power plants (SHPPs), considered. Hence, objective work to propose application generalized stochastic Petri nets (GSPN) for planning optimization logistics DER enterprise with two SHPPs. presented case study, different scenarios modeled considering related spare parts sharing teams between plants. From financial return resulting from estimated operating cost each simulated scenario, most profitable one can be estimated. The results demonstrate ability GSPNs estimate influence number on DERs, allowing costs logistics.
